first of all i am actually not so into "recipe book" but that's the only topic which
our batch AD88 students are assigned to do, so...I've tried my best by the way..(;
If you researched through wikipedia or google it, you will roughly know that
Baba Nyonya is a minor community in Malacca, Penang and Singapore whom
they are the descendants of late 15th and 16th-century Chinese immigrants to
the Nusantara during the Colonial era. Most of them have lived for generations along
the straits of Malacca and some of them intermarried with the local Native Malays.
In this book, I will briefly introduce you the fascinating Baba Nyonya wedding experience
and also some of the recipes of Nyonya cuisine that is served during the wedding banquet,
which actually remind me of my grandmother's cooking.
